JOB SUMMARY
The Content Manager develops a consistent brand identity for JCW Creative’s clients by establishing an online presence. The Content Manager oversees marketing strategies that engage our clients targeted demographic and preferences and ensures that there is a positive impactful view of all products and services offered by our clients. The Content Manager uses information such as metrics and statistics about our client’s targeted demographics and preferences to create multimedia content that raises brand awareness.
Content Management Responsibilities:
General:
- Researches, conceptualizes and presents content and content ideas for clients in alignment with their message, story and brand
- Collaborates and works with the JCW Creative team to generate a social media marketing strategy that will promote customer engagement and brand awareness
- Develops social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity
- Assists in brainstorming, conceptualizing and planning the creation of new content such as articles, blogs, vlogs, photos, graphics, videos and campaigns
- Assists in quality control by proofing and utilizing spell check through Grammarly Business on work before submission
- Suggests recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
- Coordinates and develops versions of work and presents to clients and managerial team members for approval
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested depending on the needs of JCW and its clients
- Balances competing priorities and multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines
- Performs Internal Reviews on work related to clients messaging as requested/assigned
- Shape language and tone used in work for JCW Creative
- Works with all JCW Creative team members to review materials created and finalized
Content Management:
- Researches clients, their industries and competitors to have a full understanding of who our clients are
- Writes and collaborates with the team to create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement and promoting social media campaigns
- Writes video titles and descriptions, add to unlisted Youtube videos and make videos public
- Manages social media posts and platforms for JCW Creative’s clients
- Communicates with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner
- Prepares monthly reports on social media marketing efforts
- Posts portfolios, case studies, blogs and vlogs to client websites
- Fully follows all processes to create and set up accounts such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Google My Business, Databox, Content Cal, Linktree, etc.
Newsletter Management:
- Strategize monthly newsletters for JCW Creative clients
- Create and utilize graphics for newsletters
- Write copy for newsletters
- Build out newsletters
- Send newsletters
- Report data on newsletters to managerial team members to be presented to clients
- Content Cal Management:
- Brainstorm and develop out monthly content calendars for all JCW Creative’s clients that utilize Content Cal
- Send posts through Content Cal for approval to JCW Creatives clients and internal managerial team members
- Communicates with clients and internal team members in a timely manner
CRM Management:
- Manages client accounts in CRM Software and implements marketing automation paths, develops email campaigns, creates Chatbots, manages Campaigns, Listening feeds, upload contacts and create lists
- Monitor and analyze campaign results regularly and proactively recommend adjustments as needed
- Manage an overall evaluation of client’s campaigns/promotions/projects based on analysis of promotion/trend metrics and produce reports for review
Content Management/Design:
- Uses Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to create social media, newsletter, and blog graphic content as needed/requested
Content Management Improvement:
- Audits all processes, recommends process improvements, assists with implementation of changes to processes
- Train or take training courses to improve knowledge on Content Management
- Follows social media trends and participates in professional development opportunities
- Consistently researches industry related topics to improve clients branding and messaging
- Reviews creative work and suggests improvements
Content Management/Clients:
- Attends client’s discovery/post-discovery meetings as assigned to understand a client’s brand and target audience.Collaborates with team members to develop the clients brand and content plan.
- Accompany managerial team members to client meetings as requested to offer insight as needed on client campaign/promotion/project metrics
- Works throughout client accounts to tell the client’s story, represent the client’s brand, and meet JCW Creative’s standards
Wrike Management:
- Follows production schedules and deadlines for marketing projects/tasks assigned
- Reviews Dashboard/My to-do and communicates with other team members on needs/expectations
- Properly follows Wrike processes of internally tagging team members and switching workflow statuses as needed for all projects/tasks assigned to creative team member
Technical Requirements
- Understand and Utilize Internal Softwares such as but not limited to:
- Wrike, SharpSpring, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Chrome, LastPass, Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp,Content Cal, Egnyte and other client marketing platforms
- Google Workspace: Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Analytics, and Google Meet
- Microsoft Workspace: Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Slides, OneNote
- Understand and Utilize Social Softwares such as but not limited to:
- Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Yelp, Twitter, Google My Business, Google Maps, Apple Maps and Linktree
- Dedicates time to learn new softwares and platforms as they are implemented
